Whisper His Name Poem by Gary James Smith

Whisper His Name

Whisper His Name

Tired of the hurting
That relationships can bring
Tired of the lying...the false and misleading
There's still a loving Father
Maybe so far that you have denied
Whisper His name...you might be surprised

Whisper His name you have His ear
He's not far away in fact He's right here
His shoulders are big enough you can lean on them
Whisper His name and call upon Him

Tired of the lostness
You know the feeling right well
Tired of the stressing...your mood changes tell
There's still a loving Father
Maybe so far that you have denied
Whisper His name...you might be surprised

Whisper His name you have His ear
He's not far away in fact He's right here
His shoulders are big enough you can lean on them
Whisper His name and call upon Him

Tired of the hiding
Trying your sorrows to erase
Tired of the againness of the tomorrow you face
There's still a loving Father
Maybe so far that you have denied
Whisper His name...you might be surprised

Whisper His name you have His ear
He's not far away in fact He's right here
His shoulders are big enough you can lean on them
Whisper His name and call upon Him

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
