I hear that flutter flapping on a soft fall breeze
I roll in play upon your crackling autumn leaves
I am that warm embrace before your kiss goodnight
I illuminate your path as a guiding torch alight
I'm the whisper that sneeks between these worlds
The silent declaration as the empire unfurls
A terrorist threat spat in your face & heart
As the ember months prelude a sacred start
I'm heard in your language & consumed through art
Without my company you're sentenced to wander the dark
