Whispering Rain Poem by Deepa Thomas

Whispering Rain

Rating: 4.5

With a hot cup of coffee
I sat on my chair, by the window
Watching a thousand raindrops fall
Dancing to some unsung melodies
Reaching out to me
With its soothing little fingers
Caressing my cheeks wet by tears
Slowly washing sadness away
Whispering those little nothings
Knowing how to ease my pain
Telling me that I am not alone
May be shared their sorrows too.
