Whispers In The Night Poem by jason mcgookin

Whispers In The Night

Rating: 2.8

I am the whispers in the night
Keeping to shadows spurned by light
Awaiting until that one passes by
Unbeknown to them they will die
quick as lightning i deliver my kiss
Ah but you my princess
You i long to love and caress
To be with you for all eternity
I'll bring to you a dark tranquillity
we'll hunt for mortals you and I
Under the blanket of a darkened sky
I sink my teeth into your vein
Eternal life your soon to gain
as i cut my chest and give you my blood
Your heart soon stops with a such a thud
Dead, yet your eyes stay open
we are the whispers in the night

'Ill bring to you a dark tranquillity' what a beautiful image....your mind seems as dark as mine. :)

Oh i love this! Clever, supernatural yet somehow believable, dark and moody too!
