Whispers In The Night Poem by Sarah Reamey

Whispers In The Night

She can hear the whispers in the night.
The reality of them give her a fright.
The sorrowful crys and the hurtful lies,
No longer come to her as a surprise.
The unworthy stranger, who causes their love danger,
fills her heart with nothing but anger.
The conceited man and his unsought plan,
Hurts the heart of the girl,
who loves him more than anything in the world.
She knows she'll never be alright,
because of the whispers in the night.
