I want to secretly reside in your eyes and heart as a loyal old soul with thoughts that don't subside.
I am not for a rhyme or a fleeting time,
Seeking more than just a moment's shine.
In this journey, I aim for lasting bliss,
Embracing life's realities, both sweet and amiss.
I'm in it for something to be untwined for a lifetime and never depart.
In life's bitter and sweet reality, I want to experience the courage to feel at home in each other's embrace, and our hearts to grow strong through the trials we face.
I reckon this is progress, dear.
I pray that its tenderness will never fade.
For in the tapestry of life's grand design,
May its gentle touch forever intertwine.
