Who Am I? Poem by Geoffry blake

Who Am I?

The madness all around threatens my own sanity
my belated love for humanity shrieks out in the stillborn night
Dietys sit atop gargoyls weeping
Homeless old men sleeping
hand in hand
for their love there is no reprimand
moral free children dying in the street never to be known
names wisked away
with the wind they are blown.
angry vendors closing shop
The mind numbing roar of traffic never stops
cartoons of mad professors in my brain
yet the question still remains

who am I?
