Who Are You? Poem by Babalola Jubril

Who Are You?

I knew some strange people appear in dreams,
Masked and speechless,
Walk into people's mind,
Paint their mind with their colour,
But you do more than that,
Who are you?

You never appear in my dreams,
Neither in my thoughts,
But you stayed in my future,
Resides there without my consent,
Distract my today with abundant love and care,
Share my tomorrow with you unconsciously,
But who are you?

Wailing! Weeping! Weakening,
You surround my thoughts,
Easing my pain; caressing my tears,
You said, " let them fall, dear,
And you will never know pain again,
But who are you, the motivator?

Blurred, Sharp images of you known to me,
Obviously, you can see me,
You knew my intentions,
Let me know yours,
Because you never stop appearing,
One thousands and one times in my future.
But who are you, the picture perfect?
