my paper you are.
you are the candle that offers me light in the dark.
the first line of my poem you are.

your body is my pen, which i hold with care.
your presence completes my lines.
for you i write lines of love, for you i write, i write with care.

my poetry alive would not be if you were not here.
my paper will burn with the candle.
the pen with which i write no longer in my hands would be if you were not here.

if i let you go i shall also let go of my poetry and my passion.
you are my paper, my candle in the dark, my pen.
you are my poetry, oh you are my passion.
