Who Can Guess

Walking life’s road as fools before
With Satan hand in hand
Loving the sin seeking for more
What made me understand?

I’ve changed my mind my dance and song
I’ve changed my point of view
However far however long
I know what I must do

I’m full of Christ I’m full of love
Although one day I’ll die
I’m journeying to God above
Where life awaits on high

Eternal life and endless bliss
Heavenly food and wine
Suffering no remiss
Since Jesus’ love is mine

My name’s within Life’s gorgeous book
Embossed in Jesus’ hand
Before man’s dawn the way I took
Was written in the sand

But sand will cease its timely flow
Oceans will cease to tide
Soon I’ll have reached God’s timeless glow
Beyond the great divide

But till the dawn I’ll full of cheer
God’s calling plain in view
Helping the weak relinquish fear
Encouraging stranding true

What blessings will tomorrow lend
What thrills will life caress?
What ventures lie around the bend
No one can even guess
