Who Cries For Yuko Takeuchi Precious Cherry Blossom Fallen Poem by Terence George Craddock

Who Cries For Yuko Takeuchi Precious Cherry Blossom Fallen

those who love talent creativity cry inside when talent is lost
those who love talent creativity die inside a little when talent is lost
we who love talent mourn the loss of Yuko Takeuchi in our heart

we who love talent mourn the loss of Yuko Takeuchi in our soul
strange Yuko who acted in Cyborg, Shiroi Kage and thriller Ring
achieved first lead role in film Innocent World the world is not

innocent the world is neither innocent nor kind even to a star actress
with best actress awards in Japanese movie and television categories
she was not acting when at 40 found dead at her residence in Tokyo

an apparent suicide found hanging by the neck at her home
rushed to a hospital confirmed dead capital city cries tears
shock sudden heart break Tokyo tsunami sudden cried tears

artists ordinary people wake to another cherry blossom tragedy
poets crying in their hearts Japanese government issues a national
suicide warning several famous artists sad other Japanese people

have recently committed suicide due to depression over COVID 19
time for poets artists to try to bring a little love light into the world
Yuko was a mother of two sons motherless youngest born this year

Yuko a cherry blossom lost is latest in a series of Japanese celebrities
who depression have died by their own hand this year Takeuchi's death
follows recent suicides by well-known too many artist Japanese talents

model then actress Sei Ashina 36 September 14 2020
committed suicide found dead at home after failing
to answer calls messages will never answer ever again

actor singer Haruma Miura 30 July 18 2020
we shall hear your voice see your face no more
will you entertain our lives with new works artist

pro wrestler netflix reality TV star Hana Kimura 22 May 23 2020
following a series of suicidal tweets addressing ** criticism
directed at her from nasty troll critic Terrace House viewers

you hate trolls Japanese globally have so much to answer for
grow a sliver of human decency wake up or buy an artificial heart
artists do not have dream fantasy lives gift artists are real people

to artists alone suffering depression to all people alone hurting
can you not reach out seek help ask for help find new friends
wait for dawn to rise glorious for new sun to shine in new dreams

cannot you wait just another year and another year
to watch cherry blooms bloom for glorious week
can you not share light your lives just another year

then another year let families friends see light in your eyes
have we not cried also in our hearts during writing your lives
have we not weep in our hearts precious pearl fervent tears
