Who Is God Poem by Roger Dodd

Who Is God

Is God black, or is God white,
Who is wrong, and who is right?
For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son,
So that not just one race would be saved but everyone.
Some say God is a god who hates,
I say they better learn the truth before its to late.
I say God is a God who loves,
Some of us will learn this when we go home above.
Some say God is just for one race,
They'll learn the truth when they see His face.
Jesus died and rose again on day three,
His salvation is truly free.
Jesus loves us one and all,
On Calvary's cross He took the fall.
For Jesus was truly without sin,
How can I explain His love I can't even begin.
He died for us all on the Old Rugged Cross,
So that a world of sinners wouldn't be lost.
For those who think they know who God is,
Remember the image we are all created in is His.
