Who is the Great?

  A colorless ray HE made…
And made colors all
From ultra violet to infra red
Flowers reflect them all

A sperm and ovum HE made
Specimens numerous now parade!

Blacks and Whites
Blondes and Redheads
Brunettes and Black-heads
The bald blue-eyed
Thick and thin-haired
Thick-headed and wise:
HE reflects in them all…

HE made them believe
Believe in Him in different calls!

Now tell me, who is the Greatest of all?
You me or anybody else here,
Or these deemed greats,
Or HE who made these all?

'HE who made these all' -
the Creator, The Sustainer and the Destroyer.
Thanks, Kesav. An inspiring writing.

Sir,
You have well estiblished through this poem the greatness of God. He, Who made all colors, yet embedded them all in one color, 'White'; He Who made seven
'swaras', yet embedded them in one Ohm..........He is the Greatest of all. A great poem this is Sir.

We were all created equal, what makes us different is colour, race and creed. Why did God not make us the same many ask, is it not to test man's patience, understanding and compassion towards his fellowman? In this we have let our Maker down, HE is Great.and HIS call for Love has gone unheard...A wonderful write Kesav, bringing home the wrong we do to 'friends' we do not know - - Cindy

Well written words Poet...
Of course he is the Greatest
but there are some great men?
But He made them all
He is the greatest.....
I loved this poem thank you

yes, I agree. And most certainly agree with what Alf have said below. What color is God's skin? is it black, brown, yellow, white? WE'RE THE SAME in the good Lord's sight.
  Sarvesh Kulkarni  (11/6/2009 9:14:00 AM)

yes, true.
just feel the HIM in all....no need to call him names, and ofcourse, HE being without attributes, question of epithets doesn't arise at all.
loved the poem sir, poetic and inspiring.
thank you.
