Who Is With The Bomb? Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Where is it? ! !
It is over here;
Where is it? ! !
It is over there;
It has occured once again!
And, who has the bomb?

It is over here an there,
But, who is playing with the bomb?
It has destroyed many and,
It is still destroying us today.

Who is with the bomb? ! !
Right from creation till today,
We have been destroying ourselves in the name of hatred;
Throwing bombs here and there,
Killing others.

When are we going to learn? !
For, we do advance on in life in the name of technology,
But, we still have the bombs in our hands;
Bombs, bombs, bombs, bombs! ! !
With the nuclear bombs to kill us all;
All in the rat race.

Who is with the bomb?
With arsenals and nuclear warheads!
After six thousand years of history,
We still cannot learn from our mistakes.

Here and there with the manufacturing of weapons!
And, we still go to conferences thinking of stopping the arm race;
Oh! Living in a nuclear rat race! !
In the name of weapons.
