Wholly Transparent Poem by Anonymous Me3

Wholly Transparent

Rating: 4.5

Make me laugh and I shed my armor
Love me and I become transparent
After all my years spent in darkness
I crave such light.
My body aches for a warmth
Sunbeams never could provide
My very bones are cold.
My hands reach out and grasp
Wildly at empty space
Sometimes I feel as empty.
My feet step feather-light for
They know only egg-shells
And I remember being as fragile.
I can be vulernable again
If you can be my sun
Be my solid ground
If you can steady me
Make me wholly transparent.
