Why am I so petrified of you?
Why can't I speak when your around?
You're so amazing
You take my breath away
Why do I run from you?
When I know you like me here?
Am I running from my soul?
I don't want to run away
But you steal my head, my thoughts and feelings
So theres nothing I can do
In your presence I feel so dead but so alive
So forgive me when I hide
But I'm far too shy to face you yet
You don't scare me its the thought that does
I have to run before I scream and fall
You're my life, my breath, my everything
So if thats true
Why doesn't my heart open for you?
