Because it's paradise.

Because it's worth the prize.
Why choose to love?
It can hurt so much.
Why choose to love?
I have a hunch.
Why choose to love?
When your love can go.
Why choose to love?
Because I love her so.
Why choose to love?
Because hope remains.
Why choose to love?
Because I love her name.
Why choose to love?
Because it can be so strong
Why choose to love?
Because for her I long.
Why choose to love?
I may never know.
Why choose to love?
I hope she loves me so.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

I met this wonderful sweet charming little Chinese women a few weeks ago, we spent some wonderful moments of fun and tenderness together, tonight she is taking the plan and going back to Toronto, then China, she inspired me to write this poem and I'll send it to her the next time we communicate together...I wish I get to see my sweet Carol again...

PS: I'm 45 years old and this is the first attempt at writing a poem,
