why'd you stroke my face tenderly lovingly
why'd you make me laugh when i wanted to cry
why'd you share secrets and favourite things with me
why'd you challenge me to be my best
why'd you give me those looks i missed
why'd you make me fall in love with you
just to let me go without a fight
was it because I was too young
because I still think of you
it brings me extreme heart ache
but you just won't leave my mind
