Why Didn'T It?
Why didn't the sun rise today?
And why didn't the rooster crow today?
Why didn't I dance fast?
And why didn't the song last?
I wondered in the mid-morning.
I asked about it in mid-noon.
I sang about it but could not find,
And answer in my heart or mind.
But then a ray of sun shone up,
And told me what was up.
Nothing happened because of me,
I am the one who could've,
Made it happened you see.
