You said that you weren't happy
You said you couldn't take it anymore

You had till your eighteenth birthday
Why didn't you try?

You said that you were all alone
You said I was never there.

You were almost done
So, why didn't you try?

You said you always put on a fake smile
You said that that made everyone happy.

You had your whole life ahead of you
Why didn't you try?

You said you were going to give up
You said you had to escape the pain.

You could have had a wonderful life
If only you had tried.
