The lonely eagle flies with the winds
With majestic, gliding wings
One single sentence comes from the skies
“come away with me, come away and fly”
My soul hopes to be a part
Of the beating of its heart
My soul, even though it may disagree
Has learned what it means to fly free
The winds hold my soul secure
And I know I am no longer immature
And to my very delight
I have become one with the night
I now know what it means to soar high
The gift of what it means when he is on the fly
He gave me strength
When life put me at length.
