Why does it hurt?
If i never loved you back
Why does it hurt?
If its because of me that you left
I should have kissed you when i had a chance
Because now its to late and never again will i hold your hand

I should have gave you my heart
I should have gave you my life
But that's the mistake, i wasn't able to lie

We walked a fragile line
and i knew it all the the time
just never thought id see it brake
never thought id cross the line

you took away my pain
and just might have made me smile
but the hole time I'm wishing it was you instead
