Why I Look Grumpy - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Why I Look Grumpy - Lincoln Park Zoo

Mr. tawny frogmouth, I do
Have a look of grumpiness that,
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
I present from my habitat.
Mrs. tawny frogmouth is why
I look grumpy most of the time.
Because of her, I'm one nagged guy.
She nags for no reason or rhyme.
When she nags I don't peep a word.
This would only irritate her.
Frankly, I am scared of that bird.
She is a scary sort for sure.

So I look grumpy because she
Refuses to stop nagging me.
