Why I Want To Be Rich (A Rich Man's Prayer) Poem by Timothy muggaga

Why I Want To Be Rich (A Rich Man's Prayer)

In the middle of the ocean I reach
And I can cast my net to get fish
So all splendors will dance at my switch
That is when I invest and grow rich

But this is why I hunger for a dollar
So I could make all jobs white collar
Pull the sun and fight darkness with solar
And later on take the burden of the donor

So I want to feed the hungry cops
That they may guard the country’s shops
And bury the nations fears and raise hopes
When I build bridges with financial ropes

I want to be the richest in the city
Cause I hate “want” also I bare pity
For the young ones who look at infinity
And have placed their hope in the nation’s immunity
