Why Is It Me That Love Does Not Want Poem by jason medina

Why Is It Me That Love Does Not Want

How could he have done something so stupid, so foolish?
What i wonder could have possesed him to do this?
I guess its safe to say he didnt really think about it.

Its amazing how he had been so naive
to think that she would not find out she had been decived

But enough about him I wanna talk about her.
One can only imagine how bad she has been hurt
She gave all of her love for whatever it was worth
But it seems that she just could not make it work

All she ever wanted was to feel like she belonged
To feel the warmth and comfort of being held in someones arms
The feeling of being protected from any kind of harm

But now all of the shame from his silly little game
Has left her not only with pain; but also with a question, a ponder, a thought.
