Why Night?
Tell me, tell me
Please convince me
That there is a sunrise
That'll make me feel better.
Please love me the way I am
Night, you should know, has darkened me
I just can't feel anymore
The peace that once lived in me.
Dark outside
Some light lingers inside
I want to see it
Open the door for me.
Make me understand
Night, what do you want?
I want to feel better
but, jeez, you don't let me.
