Wildfire Poem by Justin Phanthavong

Wildfire

Ripping through giants in a rage
Is wild and contained by no cage
Leaving a black scar on the Earth
The burning spirit of the hearth

Lined by destruction is its path
Pity any who feel its wrath
Becomes the judge of your life's worth
The burning spirit of the hearth

Out of ash a forest will rise
Like the Phoenix after it dies
The beautiful flame of rebirth
The burning spirit of the hearth
