Wildlife Is Disappearing Poem by Francis Duggan

Wildlife Is Disappearing

Rating: 4.0

In a World of more than six billion people wildlife is disappearing
And many living things of land and sea to extinction are nearing
Habitat destruction, pollution and poaching it's toll on wildlife taking
For to save endangered species inroads we are not making,
Despite what is said of scientific cloning extinction is forever
Other creatures links to Planet Earth have we the right to sever
The human population keeps on growing and for that other creatures suffer
On all things that walk or run or swim or fly life is getting far tougher,
On the endangered list new species every day and each day more extinction
To add to the successes of human kind this is not a distinction
Less fish now in the waterways in part due to pollution
For saving wildlife it does seem no big plan or solution
More land is being cleared every day that seems an awful pity
And another wood it is bulldozed for to build a bigger City.
