I love how you never were there,
never there to see me cry
you never once saw me shed my tears
and that’s exactly what I love about you

you never knew
so much grief and fury to be mine
I hid it all
just for my pride
and now you don’t know
what lies beneath my skin

that some one other than who you see is here
that some one is me
you haven’t heard any thing from me
I tell you what you want to hear
it's as simple as that

I make sure my face is calm
not portraying what is inside
because that would frighten you
you would fear me
like I fear being seen
seen properly

I love how you over look things
so easily
it makes my job easier
thanks to you
I can hide with out being seen

deep down I really do love you
want you
and most of all
I need you
I wouldn’t give you up for the world
will you do the same for me?
will you love me like there’s no tomorrow?
will you love me if I let you see
all of me?
