Willing to Wait

We never knew, never saw never thought it would be like this
i thought i found love
but it turned out wrong
thats when i thought to myself

Im willing to wait
willing to wait for the one to turn my world upside down
willing to wait for the one to dance me in circles
but most of all im willing to wait for the one willing to wait for me

the looks you gave me
the tears i cryed
you helped me through more then i know
our friendship was different in so many ways
i was thinking of you when i thought

Im willing to wait
willing to wait for the one to turn my world upside down
willing to wait for the one to dance me in circles
but most of all im willing to wait for the one willing to wait for me

we could spend hours talking and get nowhere
but with one look could get us everywhere
i thought i was all alone
but then you where there by my side
thats when i knew
i found the one i was willing to wait for

Im willing to wait
willing to wait for the one to turn my world upside down
willing to wait for the one to dance me in circles
but most of all im willing to wait for the one willing to wait for me

Poem of the Day

poet Alfred Edward Housman

The time you won your town the race
We chaired you through the market-place;
Man and boy stood cheering by,
And home we brought you shoulder-high.
