I'm tired of the snow
I'm tired of the cold
I want to feel the nice warm air
I really want to go
Where nobody knows
Where the stars in the sky I can stare
I don't mind the rain
Or even a strong wind
From a warm southwestern storm
As long as it doesn't drain
The energy that's within
My body that's always warm
I'm a southerner at heart
But I live in Winona
A place with nine months of winter
But sometimes in part
I wish it was Daytona
And I'd be an owner not a renter
But that's not for real
It's only a dream
I guess I'll have to stay
It's really a better deal
So I guess it seems
That I won't leave Winona USA
