Someone once asked me
Why do you cry
I cry for different reasons

If somebody hurts me
Or my pet dog dies
Sometimes I cry every season

I think crying is good
It's good for the sole
Makes me feel so much better

Try it if you would
Whether you're young or old
Or we can all cry together

I cry when I'm happy
I cry when I'm sad
But no for every occasion

Like when I'm crabby
Or when I'm mad
Or receiving a standing ovation

So go ahead and cry
It won't cause you pain
It might even make you feel better

It only works if you try
So walk out in the rain
You just might change the weather
