Winter Poem by Jasmine Thompson

Winter

The branches droop
from the weight

The earth looks like
a fresh clean slate

It's the time
to start a new

It could help
clear your blues

As the ground emerges
from its cold dark place

You look at the world
with a new face

You'll never forget
the winter that pasted

He will help
make it last
