Winter Poem by Chris Sturdevant

Winter

Rating: 5.0

Silence is broken
Snow is falling
A chill in the air
Sirens calling
Skies are grey
Cloudy and cast
Trees are barren
Its winter at last
Grass is dying
Creatures rest
The birds are gone
From their summer nest
Plodding through
This sullen time
Spring awaits
And the sun will shine
