Winter Poem by Charlie Writer

Winter

Rating: 5.0

The air was cold there
dry
The wind grazed the trees and our lips
and we wept
We felt alive
your fingertips traced stars on my wrists
leaving constellations on the lines
stories of love I couldn't reach
trapped before your eyes
Silence was plenty there
It was enough
There were places in our hearts
Words couldn't grasp to touch
You held me there
Between
The rage and the quiet
Between
Death and life
And it was more
Than love
Than life
We believed
We hoped
We felt alive
