Winter For Kids Poem by Ima Ryma

Winter For Kids

I am called winter, colder clime
Than the other three seasons be.
For human children I'm a time
That kids do make the most of me.
Especially the kids that live
In areas where I bring snow,
The opportunity to give
The funner side of me to show.
Cold clouds do come and the snow falls,
And suddenly the kids show up.
Snow forts, snow persons and snow balls,
Snow sledding and snow tubing, yup!

I love to hear all the kids say,
'Hey, can I go outside and play? '
