Winter solstice night.
Look! —the moon in the east
is full and large
and his face—yes, on his face—
the shadows form a smile.
Full moon in New Mexico too, of course. I admired it from a beach in Spain. Perhaps the smile you saw reflected your state of mind. I saw a more melancholy face...
Yes, our moods reflect our perceptions—hence the wisdom given in Philippians 4 to focus on things good, honorable, just, pure, etc. The peace of Christ that confounds understanding be yours. -Glen

To watch the glowing moon on a full moon day is indeed a delectable spectacle! The smile you saw on the full moon sure has added to its beauty! A lovely observation!
