Winter Road Poem by Ima Ryma

Winter Road

The road in winter time can be
A challenge for the driver who
Can't enjoy nature's white beauty,
With all the road watching to do.
When the road is covered in snow,
When the road is covered in ice,
Driving becomes stressful to know
If drive will be naughty or nice.
If there has been no helpful plow,
Do the tires need be fit with chains?
Lots of wondering if and how
Will be avoided travel pains.

This winter road, no need to cuss,
Cuz I am riding on the bus.
