Wish Away

I wish I could wish away
all the sadness that grows
upon the human vine.
I wish I could wish away
all the miseries
that others leave behind.
I wish I could wish away
everyone’s troubles and strife.
I wish I had the power
to wish away all that blights us,
making for a happier daily life.
