Wishes From A Make Believe Friend Poem by Sandra Black

Wishes From A Make Believe Friend

Happiness of life in a nut shell
Smile as sweet as strawberries
Eyes as grey as a heron's tail

Voice as sweet as the cuckoo
With cheeks so soft &
Hair that doesn't need shampoo

Blonde ringlets curl over
Sweet as a meal
On a laden table @ Passover

Laughter as pleasant
As a game of pheasant
Todayladen with presents

Dance like Terpsichore
And live for years
A hundred score

My wishes for you
In a day or two
Take long strides baby blue
