i am
a shell
at the sea shore,
pick me up,
because, i am dreaming
sleeping here in the sand.
many have trampled,
and tortured me
hardship has been my life
all is left is pain.
yes, i am a seasoned shell!
yet,
when the moonbeams
are on the pine trees
the sea will smile in glee
the sea will merge
its smile with me
and i, a part
of the grand sea.
Sometimes you stand so near and yet so far from your destination, beautifully expressed!
That is why the sea shells are on the shore for, ritty! They wait and wait eternally to be sea but.....!
