Wishing Well Poem by Not Long Left

Wishing Well

a penny falls,
swallowed,
into the water of fortune,
a wish whispered,
welcomed,
under the light of the moon,
the silver shimmers
and shines,
innocent hope
ripples,
little lines,
of watered hills,
my wish was,
to kiss you lips,
and the well,
with its sunken,
shimmering ships,
paid in kind
