Witching Hour Poem by Ann Dewyze

Witching Hour

Darkness falls like a slow and painful death
Malicious shadows cloaked in black
Writhing in darkness
The witching hour has begun
Maniacal laughter, raspy chuckles
Terrible visages cast in firelight,
As the cauldron bubbles,
The spell is cast
