With Water Flowing

While living, water's everywhere
Water causing to think
Though Heaven's willing free to share
Just few will come to drink

Water to heal an ailing soul
A heart wrecked, frayed or torn
A river flowing to wisdom's goal
Where life deceased's reborn

Water alone Salvation's Well
Will freely give to all
Who plagued with shame, will flee from hell
Answering Heaven's call

No cup, nor bucked will one need
Neither a length of rope
Nothing, following Heaven's lead
But somewhat faith and hope

Be wise my friend, be modern cool
Accept God's offer straight
Receive Christ's hand, let true love rule
Life's oft too short to wait

Take daily the bible, read it
Pray oft, rather than not
Between two stools, friend never sit
Let un-forgiveness rot

As living Water seeps within
With speed or often slow
It cleans the soul of every sin
And sets the heart aglow

I too, my friend was one of these
Ere joining Heaven's band
Till seeking God upon my knees
Parched in a barren land.....
