Woman
She is but only a woman..............
A woman of passion
A woman of integrity
A woman of soul
A woman of colour
An African woman she is
and carries the burdens of the world
Yet with all these burdens
she still has time,
time to laugh,
time to cry,
time to build a family,
time to be weak,
time to be strong,
time to keep the world together,
and a time to fix all that's wrong.
She is but only a woman
an African woman......A rose
a black rose..that has defined all odds
Stood against adversity to reach its current maturity
With bleeding hands, a broken heart and a wounded soul
She still fights and hopes for a better world
Though she knows she may not see it, but her legacy she leaves
will live beyond her earthly days
WOMAN oh WOMAN stand up and be PRAISED
