Wont You Let Love In? Poem by fransiscah anyanga

Wont You Let Love In?

Let love in
Let it hold your heart
Feel love from deep within
Allow yourself to hurt
While love does play her part
In the comfort of love
you learn to have
Only where love is bold
Will you love till you grow old
So won't you let her in?
She knocks on strangers doors
Oblivious of their flaws
And like a weary traveler
She comes in from the cold
Dines with the Unsuspecting
Leaving a trail from path to door
For strangers who did not know
How to love and how to grow
Let her in for sure!
