Words Never Said Poem by Blair Blakeslee

Words Never Said

I feel the rain on my skin
Lord wash away my sin

I hear voices all around
Yet nobody can hear my sound

I'm so cold I can't take a breath
As if I was under the sea at maximum depth

In this space I fit tight
Still I can see a light

Now no sound is being made
And the light begins to fade

I lay here as if I was in bed
And I think of the words I never said.
