The Earth, our home, so fragile and rare,
A place of beauty, beyond compare.
Forests, oceans, and creatures great and small,
All living in harmony, a magical ball.
But we have not always treated her well,
Our actions, our greed, has cast a spell.
We've polluted, we've destroyed, we've caused such harm,
The very essence of life, we've raised the alarm.
But there's hope, there's still a chance,
To save our planet, to make a stance.
To clean, to protect, to heal and renew,
To make the Earth, a paradise anew.
On World Earth Day, let's make a vow,
To protect our planet, here and now.
To reduce, to recycle, to live sustainably,
To create a world, where all can live peacefully.
Excellent thoughts ad this poor planet needs all the help it can get from environmentalists.

Writing with a purpose is probably the best form of writing. Well articulated. Kudos!
