Your heart that beats before your birth
Wants all the care it needs on earth;
It keeps life's river on the flow,
But wants some blood for its own show!
So, have a heart for your dear heart;
It pumps the blood so well by art;
Let fat not clog its blood supply,
Nor nicotine in smoke apply.
Your friend in work and exercise,
Wants you to eat right food, be wise,
Avoiding undue stress in life,
And strenuous jobs that cut like knife!
Take care of your one heart, my friend;
Its rhythmic beats must someday end;
Avoid the lazy life, it hates;
The heart decides most human fates!
