On World Snake Day the snakes bid you,
All humans, have a learning day.
These snakes be from Lincoln Park Zoo,
As ambassadors on display.
The smooth green snake, the rock python,
The Madagascar tree boa,
The Kenyan sand boa - all on
A public mission to show a
Up close safe connection so that
Humans can better understand
Snakes' purpose in their habitat
Whether in water or on land.

Each and every snake can be
A teacher for humanity.
